So I’m not going to sugar coat anything here…..I’m nervous for our trip. In a little less than 48 hours we will be on our way to Germany.

I am so thankful that both my mom and Tyler are able to be there with me as I embark on this new uncertain adventure.
I have not been sleeping that well, which is not abnormal for me due to my pain and severe insomnia, but the last few nights I have been mulling over several things. Can my body really take this? Have I been doing enough in order to prepare? Is it going to work? How many tears will I shed? Will I be up to enjoying Germany when I’m not at the clinic? Will I still be able to dance when I get back home? You get the point, right?
I know worrying doesn’t help anything but these feelings, questions, and concerns are real and I felt it was only fair to share them with you, my readers!
On the other hand there are some pluses to this trip! First and foremost this will be Tyler’s first trip to Europe, which he is super excited about! Second, I will be able to spend 3 weeks with my mom….which has not happened in a long time. Third, I will get to see one of my amazing friends…Philip!! Philip and I met junior year in boarding school! He is from Austria and is going to be visiting Germany at the end of the month. Knowing that I will be there, he is taking the time to come and visit us for a day!

And Lastly, this could be the trip and the treatment that gives me my life back, something I honestly can’t imagine.
Nonetheless….Germany here we come!!!!
Thank God you have courage, fight and a support system . We will be your wings!! I am praying for you . Get er done lovely lady and come back and soar.

How are you doing now Abby? Did they do SVF for the stems like Infusio does? I am exploring options for stems for lyme and really struggling with where to go and if I should take the leap.

Hi Kate. I have had improvements. A lot of ebb and flow which comes with the territory. It’s blood stem cells. Please read my post where I talk about why I chose dr Michael it may help give you some insight.
